Most of health resolutions are individual based.
Data show that most of the individual New Year’s resolutions don’t last for the first month.
Some can survive for the first 3 months (the most) with buddy supporting system.
Reasons for an unsuccessful New Year’s Resolution:
People made vague goals such as “I will be careful what I eat” or “I will go to Gym daily” without planning and strong support.
They make too big the changes. They are too complicated to implement.
The list of New Year Resolution is too long.
In order to make the result of this year health resolution to be different or a successful one, you will do it the whole family together.
The changes are small.
The list is kind of short.
Increase Leafy Green Intake
Spinach, turnip, cauliflower, and broccoli are full of fiber, phytonutrient, and minerals.
They prevent cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and other diseases.
You can add them to soups, stir fried, or stews. Make sure to serve the family daily.
Your body will say “thank you”.
Increase Warm Liquid Consumption
Make your effort to increase Warm liquid consumption.
Each organ will work more efficient in hydrated state for you.
Do you see I do not say water?
You do not have to drink 8 glasses of water daily.
I suggest to drink at least 4 cups of warm water, the rest is substituted by soups and juices
Before you start your day, I believe it sure to drink a glass of warm water to remove toxin out from your body.
Why warm? I believe you can drink bigger volume with warm water in each time. This is also common practice for Chinese to drink warm liquid.
Don’t drink water or liquid right before each meal. You reduce the concentration of stomach acid to digest the food.
Avoid soda, commercial juices, and sport drinks. They have no nutrient value.
They provide “empty calories” from sugar consumption.
Vitamins are essential for our bodies to complete all the tasks.
We got sufficient amount from the produce many years ago.
The method of farming depletes many trace elements and minerals from the soil.
As the result, we are becoming deficient in some of the vital essential nutrients.
Supplement of vitamins are essential to maintain the optimum body performance.
Take them either after breakfast or dinner.
To take the vitamins in form of capsules over the tablets
It is easier to have real food by eating at home.
Make sure each meal you will have one quarter protein, one quarter carbohydrate from beans, half portion vegetables.
Find some simple recipes that you can prepare in bulk during weekend.
The left over can be frozen in refrigerator.
Soup, tenderloin, meatball, and chili can be prepared in bulk.
You can serve this health meal as fast as in McDonald by reheated them.
Don’t be afraid to use your creativity to create your own recipes.
If you’re seldom in home, what can you do?
I believe there is no excuses for anyone not to have real food even circumstances don’t allow you to have home cooked meal.
McDonald and Burger King are not the only choices.
Chipotle and Whole Food Market serve many delicious real foods.

It seems like God himself creates the beautiful sunsets to reward us for the hard work we do daily.
This brisk activity not only prevents the unwanted weight gain, but it also helps you to lose weight.
I lost about 15 pounds within 4 weeks just by walking 1 hour each day.
Walking has big impacts on your heart, joints, and health.
Remember, big result comes from accumulation of small changes.
Choose one healthy resolution to work on it until it becomes your habit before you move on to the next.
